Celebrate the beauty of spring by joining artist Kat at the picturesque Grand Cru Estate for a unique watercolour painting workshop. This experience is perfect for those looking to unwind, sip wine, and explore their creativity in a relaxing atmosphere.

During the session, you’ll learn to paint delicate botanical flowers inspired by the natural surroundings of Grand Cru Estate, or from a handpicked selection of vibrant blooms. Kat will guide you through essential watercolour techniques, helping you blend colours, create depth, and master brushwork on A4-sized paper, all in a supportive, social environment.

Enjoy a glass of Grand Cru's finest wine and delicious nibbles as you paint either indoors at the cozy whiskey snug or outdoors, overlooking stunning vineyard views—weather permitting.

What’s Included:

- All art supplies, including professional quality watercolour paper, paints, and brushes

Soap Making Workshop

Join us for an immersive workshop in crafting cold process soap with natural ingredients. Explore the art of soap making using essential oils, natural colourants, and botanicals for decoration.

Perfect for beginners, this soap making workshop will teach you about the cold process technique to create natural soap. A member of Dusty Blend will demonstrate how this process works and how you can customize your handmade soap loaf with a variety of scents and botanicals, depending on what you like and what is in season.

All materials and safety equipment are included for this soap making class, and throughout the lesson, your experienced teacher will assist you with any questions you may have during the soap making process

At the end of your class you will come away with the knowledge and skills to experiment with a confidence at home making homemade soap.

Cold Process soap does require time to cure for up to 48hrs before being able to un-mould your soap loaves. Collection will be required during opening hours at Dusty Blend. Or for a fee of $9.95 your soap loaf will be sent out to a location suitable for you.

Join us for a fun, creative morning learning how to make Kokedama while indulging in a delicious coffee at one of the best cafes the Adelaide Hills has to offer.

Be guided through the Japanese art of Kokedama making by an experienced instructor.
Receive all the tips, tricks and encouragement you need to go home with a creation you love and are proud of.

You will make one of your own medium sized Kokedama balls using a plant of your selection.
Plant types will vary based on what is available from our suppliers at the time. We generally stick to things that have been tried and tested to be proven hardy options.

The Good Pantry will provide each participant one coffee (or alternative hot beverage) per person.

All plants and materials are provided. All you need to bring is your lovely self.
You'll also receive Kokedama care instructions and a 10% GLL discount voucher.

Suitable for beginners through to more experienced plant and craft enthusiasts.

If you want to bring along your child to join in the fun you can - however please note this class is best suited to crafty-minded children 12 and up due to the size of the kokedama being tricky for smaller hands to handle. The same standard fees apply per person for both children and adults.

Create your own mobile using recycled and collected materials with renowned Barrossa artist Rachel Porter!

Working with recycled metals and other materials, Rachel will guide you through the process of getting the right distribution of your of your mobile pieces to get the perfect balance and spin. You will be taught how to emboss metal and be privy lots of Rachel's other ideas when it comes to mobile making. All materials will be included however we will be using sticks for the base of the design so you are more than welcome to bring along your own if you find something special.

Open to Adults and Children 8 or over.
Children must be accompanied by an Adult participating in the workshop
